The Winneconne Middle School has received an Education Leadership Award for Excellence in Technology and Engineering from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. This award was given to the Middle School for implementing a rigorous engineering curriculum and providing the support and environment necessary to achieve excellence in education.

 The Association of WI School Administrators (AWSA) has recognized WMS as an Exemplary Middle School!  We are being recognized for high growth in reading and/or math scores in the past school year with scores in the top 10%.
