ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2013

Today is Day 2
Today is day 4 for band lessons.
Jazz Ensemble meets today.

There will be a meeting for all 8th grade Football players interested in becoming part of our football family during 8th grade recess on Wednesday,  May 22nd, in the detention room. Please see Coach Peters if you are interested in playing and cannot attend this meeting.

Last night the track team competed in the Conference Championships at Ripon.  It was a great ending to a fantastic season for both teams.  The boys team won 7 of the 16 events en route to their 93 points.  Second place was Omro with 80 points.  Individual conference championships  were won in the Triple Jump and in the 400.  The 1600 Medley, 800 Medley, 800 Relay and both 4x100 teams were also Conference Champs.
The girls team gave a dominating performance scoring 100 points beating the second place team by 40 points.  Individual Conference Championships were won in the Shot Put, the 100 meter dash, the mile, the 200 Meter Dash, the 400 Meter Dash.  Both 400 Meter relays won first place, the 800 Medley, and 800 Meter Relay also took first.  It was an outstanding night by all the athletes.  There were a lot of personal records and solid performances.  Congratulations on a great season and the first Conference and Relay Championship Sweep by both teams! Please be sure to turn in your jersey to Coach Western as soon as you can.

Attention all MS students - We will have a Get out of School Bash on Wed. June 5th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Waterfront Park.  Please come out with all our friends and enjoy some fun and great Music by The Presidents which is Mr. Jerabek's band!  We will have soda, Gatorade and candy to purchase!

Student Council members are reminded to get their permission slip and money in BY May 28th for their field trip!

8th graders - don’t forget, there are opportunities for you to sign up for community service items already.  Stop by the office if interested.

Any students who have put things in the office to keep, please remember to come and get them when you leave for the day. 

If there are any 6th or 7th grade students that are interested in participating in football for the 2013/2014 school year, please come to the office and sign up.  Thank you!

The Final FFA Meeting of the Year is tonight!  We will be celebrating June Dairy Month a bit early by making root beer floats with SPRECHER Root beer!  Recreation starts at 6:30 this month and we will be done by 7:45 PM.  Please make sure you have a ride to pick you up at that time.  Please respond to the invite on FACEBOOK!

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FRIDAY, MAY 17, 2013

Today is Day 2
Today is day 2 for band lessons.
Today is day 4 for choir lessons.
Jazz Ensemble meets today.

Last night the Track Team competed in the Conference Relays at Berlin.  The boys team gave a gutsy performance edging out Omro by one point to become Relay Champions.  First place finishes went to the 1600 Medley and the 1600 Meter Relay.  Another first place finish went to the 400 Meter Seventh Grade relay team who set a Winneconne Relay Record.  Congratulations Gentlemen!
The girls track team also took first place with a dominating performance winning the championship by 24 points.  First place finishes went to the Shot Put team, the 3200 Meter Relay team, The 400 Meter Open Relay, the 800 Medley, and the 1600 Meter relay. The night was highlighted by an amazing record breaking performance.  The seventh grade 400 meter relay team set an Overall Winneconne Record, Winneconne Relay Record, and All-Time EVC Relay Conference record. Congratulations to all the athletes on a job well done!

8th graders:  Don’t forget to pay your $2  today!   The dance is tomorrow from 7pm to 10pm!  Remember - You are all invited, so come and enjoy the fun. Tonight is decorating-right after school. All Peer Helpers will be helping, any other students that would like to stay and help are more than welcome!

There will be a brief meeting for Student Council members at the 6th grade recess and at 12:05 for 7th and 8th graders in Room 27.  Thanks!  Ms. B
